Celebrate Japanese cherry blossom festival with this refreshing menu!
Chef Ren welcomes you to her kitchen in Concord, North Carolina and takes you on a virtual culinary journey to Tokyo, Japan where she will cook along and guide you through this menu of Japanese favorites. She’ll teach you the technique for kneading the dough for hand cut udon noodle then how to prepare two different sauces for serving them. The sautéed vegetables (goma-ae) is a versatility of sesame seeds illustrating how to transform vegetables into a delicious side dish. Finally you will learn the ratios to making a balanced teriyaki glaze for a scrumptious chicken.
