CLASS DESCRIPTION

Designed for ages 7-11 +

This four lesson cooking series teaches the young chef to explore new ingredients and flavors. Learners will have fun creating valuable life skills that teaches healthy eating habits, as well as building math, science, literacy, and fine motor skills.

Think of it as a ‘Culinary Summer Camp’, and fun way to make long-lasting memories in the process. Plus, they get to talk about it when they return to school and the question: "What did you do this summer?" comes up!

My style of teaching is interactive and hands-on and I will be cooking alongside the learners.  As we cook together, they'll learn essential cooking techniques, basic food prep skills, how to repurpose food waste and best practices for kitchen safety.

At the end of the course, every student will receive a graduation certificate, and completed digital recipes so that they can create their own cookbook.

Classes begin promptly at 3:00PM EST (Eastern Standard Time).

Duration: 1 - 1 1/2 hours, depending upon the recipe and learners pace.

  • After registering, you’ll receive your private Zoom link, and a digital file that includes a comprehensive grocery list and prep instructions to get ready for class. After the class, you’ll receive the printable recipe for your file.

  • Each class is a password-protected Zoom session. You can download the Zoom app. at www.zoom.us

  • To be respectful of everyone’s time, login to the Zoom session 5 minutes prior to start time. Late attendees may not be admitted. We will not start over the lesson or repeat instructions for you to catch up.

  • Build your own pizza with Homemade Pizza Dough

  • Create your own Ice Cream Sundaes with Home made Ice Cream, Sauces & Toppings
