Become a baker, enhance your skills from the comfort of your home with this 4 lessons baking course. You will learn the foundational knowledge and skills needed to master baking subjects such as - cakes, cookies, homemade breads, pastries, and even macarons. In each of these classes, you will be making a finished product as noted in “what we’ll be baking”.

Classes are on Saturdays (dates noted below) and begins at 5pm.

April 9th Lesson 1 - Basics of Baking

  • The golden rules of baking

  • Easy cake chemistry and pantry essentials

  • What we’ll be baking: Lemon Blueberry Cake with Cream Cheese Icing - after baking, you will learn how to layer and ice a beautiful cake.

  • April 16th Lesson 2 - Cookies & Biscuits

  • All you need to know about biscuits baking

  • Tips for amazing biscuits

  • Cookie troubleshooting guide

  • What we’ll be baking: Thumbprint Cookies and Peanut Butter Oat Biscuits

April 23rd Lesson 3 - Homemade Bread

  • The ins and outs of making bread (as learned from my parents and old fashioned bakers)

  • Ten tips for beautiful bread guide

  • A simple recipe that is adaptable to be savory or sweet

  • What we’ll be baking: Rosemary and Feta Focaccia

April 30th Lesson 4 - Perfect Pastry & Macarons

  • Techniques to handle pastry

  • Five tips for perfect pastry

  • Guide to making macarons

  • What we’ll be baking : French Vanilla Macarons with Raspberry filling

After signing up you’ll receive your private Zoom link, and a digital file that includes all prep instructions for getting ready for class. At the end of the course, you’ll receive all of the recipes and in-depth theory notes for your file.
